50-year old man charged to court for stealing feeds

Reports have it that a 50-year old man, Gbenga Adeleke, was charged to court on Tuesday in an Iyaganku Chief Magistrates’ Court.

He allegedly stole 100kg of chicken feeds worth N52, 000. The court charged him of theft and conspiracy but he pleaded not guilty .

The prosecutor, Cpl. David Adepoju, stated that Mr Adeleke conspired with others to steal the feeds that belongs to Abuku Farm Limited, Ojoo, Ibadan.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Olabisi Ogunkanmi, allowed to set the defendant free with the bail of N50,000.

She told the defendant to bring two sureties that will pay the same sum each if he fails to show up in court. The case was adjourned until February 27, 2025, for mention.
