Police prevents youths from breaking into Sadaraki Stores

Date:

The police operatives in Kano State, Nigeria, were successful in preventing a group of youths from forcibly breaking into Sadaraki Stores, a commercial building situated along Zoo Road in the state capital.

The suspects, whose exact motives were not entirely clear, had attempted to force their way into the two-story structure, likely with the intention of illegally entering the premises.

However, the timely intervention of the law enforcement officers thwarted the suspects’ plans.

The police were able to respond quickly to the situation and arrive at the scene, effectively stopping the group of young people from carrying out their attempted break-in at the Sadaraki Stores location.

Despite the swift response from the security operatives, the suspects had already managed to vandalize the windows of the Sadaraki Stores building before the police arrived.

The protest against hunger that began in Kano today has seen low participation, with many residents opting to stay indoors.

This follows a warning from Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, who revealed receiving intelligence about plans to hijack the protest for malicious intent. Yusuf invited genuine protesters to gather at the Government House while warning troublemakers to stay away from the state.
