Paul Okoye, one half of the popular music duo Psquare, has spoken out about the current state of his relationship with his twin brother, Peter Okoye.
In a recent interview with City FM, Paul revealed that Peter had filed a petition against him with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), leading to his arrest in December 2023, along with their older brother, Jude Okoye.
However, following a thorough investigation, Paul was cleared of all charges and declared innocent.
He also confirmed that Peter was responsible for Jude’s arrest, shedding light on the deep-seated issues within the Okoye family.

In June last year, blogger Stella Dimokokorkus reported a feud between Psquare brothers and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, over alleged mismanagement of joint funds.
She claimed an insider revealed a company’s attempt to acquire Psquare’s music catalogue exposed financial secrets, involving the EFCC and Jude’s detention, later resolved with Amaju Pinnick’s intervention.
Recently, Paul Okoye confirmed his arrest and release, denying any wrongdoing and crediting his success to his music. This comes after a brief reconciliation with his twin brother Peter in 2021, following a 5-year feud, facilitated by Chief Tony Elumelu.
The brothers had reunited and performed together, but now seem to be at odds again, with Paul announcing his return to music and new releases.
