Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli took to Instagram to express her love and gratitude as she celebrates her pregnant daughter-in-law, Marelle Oboli, on her 22nd birthday today, August 1st, 2024.
Omoni affectionately referred to Marelle as her “first daughter” and thanked God for bringing her into their family.
She wished Marelle a year filled with God’s blessings and protection, as she prepares to welcome her new addition.
“Happy 22nd birthday to my princess. My first daughter Marelle. What a blessing you are to us all. I’m so thankful to God for giving you to us. Our gift that keeps giving.

Omoni Oboli also honored her late father’s memory, as his birthday coincides with her daughter-in-law Marelle’s.
She expressed gratitude to God for the serendipitous gift of Marelle’s presence in her life on this special day, finding comfort and joy in the new addition to her family on what would have been her father’s birthday.
“PS: Happy posthumous birthday to my dad. How truly special Lord that you gave me a daughter to make today extra special.” She wrote.
Omoni Oboli’s eldest son, Nnamdi, tied the knot with his partner, Marielle, in an intimate ceremony earlier this year, which Omoni celebrated with a heartfelt post, crediting God for the union.
The wedding took place on a chilly winter evening, but was filled with warmth and love, surrounded by family and friends.
Recently, the couple announced their pregnancy with joyful photos, revealing Marielle’s baby bump. Omoni, who had longed for a daughter and even considered adoption, expressed her gratitude to God for granting her wish through her new daughter-in-law and soon-to-be-born grandchild, fulfilling her heart’s desire.
