Toyosi Effiong, wife of Nollywood actor Etim Effiong, expressed her amazement at still feeling butterflies for her husband despite their daily closeness.
In her Instagram story, she shared how she blushes when seeing his picture on Netflix, even though they spend every day together and share a bed. Toyosi wondered why she still experiences this giddy feeling, finding it puzzling yet endearing.
“I see this man almost every day, sleep beside him, love up on him, and yet I stumble upon his picture on Netflix and start blushing. I don’t get it!”.
Etim Effiong and his wife, Toyosi, had welcomed their third child, a baby girl, in March.
They shared the joyful news on Instagram, expressing gratitude to God for the addition to their family. In a previous interview with Toolz, the couple openly discussed their active sex life, revealing that they maintain a consistent and healthy sex drive.
Etim Effiong humorously attributed his high libido to his Calabar heritage, jokingly saying he’s always ready for intimacy, even if woken up in the middle of the night.
Toyosi, previously shared her experience with marital jealousy. She confessed to feeling insecure when her husband passionately kissed a co-star in a movie, wondering if there was a romantic connection between them due to the similar way he kissed her.
However, she distinguishes this from fan interactions, where she remains calm when women approach him for photos, recognizing it as part of his profession.
Toyosi emphasized the importance of open communication in their marriage, regularly expressing her feelings to her husband to maintain trust and understanding.
