Peter Okoye, one half of the popular music duo Psquare, has broken his silence amid his ongoing feud with his twin brother, Paul Okoye, making his first public statement.
Peter Okoye, aka Mr P, ended his months-long silence with an Instagram post, sharing a stage photo and a message asking fans to be patient, hinting at upcoming solo music or an album, and referencing the phrase “diamonds are forever” as he prepares to move forward with his solo career.
“Diamonds, dey say, are forever. Dear Mr P’s fans, pls be patient”.
In June last year, blogger Stella Dimokokorkus reported a rumored feud between Psquare brothers (Peter and Paul) and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, over allegedly mismanaged joint funds.
According to her source, a company’s interest in acquiring Psquare’s music catalogue exposed financial secrets, leading to Jude’s detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Paul Okoye confirmed his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) alongside his brother Jude, as alleged by blogger Cutie Juls.
He celebrated his clearance on Instagram, asserting his innocence and attributing his success to his music.
In a recent interview, Paul revealed that his twin brother Peter was responsible for their arrest in December 2023. After a thorough investigation, Paul was declared innocent, and he also confirmed that Peter was behind Jude’s arrest.
