He is the creator and leader of Xhrine Night Club, located in Owerri, Imo State. Before this, Cubana Chief Priest held the position of General Manager at Cubana Group.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Cubana Chief Priest, born on March 26, 1982, comes from the Okechukwu family in Umuhu Okabia, Imo State.

He grew up in Imo State with his sister, Onyinyechi Maryanne, in a close-knit household that emphasized their Catholic faith.

As a young child, he frequently attended church with his parents.

Later on, Cubana Chief Priest moved to Abia State in southeastern Nigeria, specifically the city of Aba, to live with his father and pursue a career in shoemaking.

He quickly became skilled in the craft and worked diligently as an apprentice in his father’s shoemaking business.

During this time, he also honed his entrepreneurial skills by learning how to promote and sell shoe products to customers at Aba’s main market.

Eventually, he applied and was accepted into the Federal Polytechnic in Nekede, Imo State.

He furthered his education by obtaining an honorary doctorate in event and luxury hospitality management from a prestigious Nigerian university.

CAREER

Cubana Chief Priest decided to follow in his father’s footsteps and become an entrepreneur at a young age.

While still a student, he started a small business selling shoes to people at the polytechnic.

He would travel to Aba to buy the shoes from his father and then sell them to potential customers, which gained him recognition.

Seeking better business opportunities, he moved to Lagos where he crossed paths with nightclub owner Obi Cubana.

Impressed by his skills, Obi Cubana offered him a job at the newly established Cubana Group, which he gladly accepted. Starting as a bartender, he eventually became the General Manager.

During his time with the Cubana Group, he became a famous socialite and formed friendships with VIPs and celebrities in Nigeria and Africa.

However, in 2020, Cubana Chief Priest left his position as General Manager and opened his own club, Club Xhrine, in Owerri, Imo State.

PERSONAL LIFE

Cubana Chief Priest is in a joyful marriage with Angel Gold Okechukwu-Anunuso (Deangels).

They have been blessed with two children named Obinna Okechukwu and Chukwuebuka Okechukwu.
