Nigerian singer Dammy Krane has responded to a legal order he received from Davido’s lawyer.
The lawyer requested that Dammy Krane remove any offensive posts about Davido on his social media accounts within 24 hours.
Dammy Krane was also warned to stop making defamatory statements about Davido or face legal consequences.
Despite the lawsuit, Dammy Krane claimed to have witnessed Davido’s actions towards his late friend Tagbo.
He expressed his thoughts in a tweet that has since been deleted; “BTW @policeNG I’m a witness to what Davido did to Tagbo. No peace for the wicked. Justice for Tagbo”.
In a different tweet, he slammed Davido’s lawyer after a Twitter user pointed out that the lawyer had recently filed a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend and was now threatening legal action against Dammy Krane.
In response, Dammy expressed his belief that the lawyer was simply trying to extort money from Davido and demonstrate his productivity.
“Lawyer wey just wa collect money to dey shout “I put it to you”. E don dey push Davido go where e no know”.
The lawsuit was filed shortly after Dammy accused Davido of being a murderer and blasted his upcoming wedding.
Dammy claimed that Davido was only getting married because his girlfriend, Chioma, caught him cheating.
Few months ago, Dammy alleged that Davido used his wealth and status to hide his wrongdoings.
He also claimed that Davido instructed his crew member, Tagbo, to drink excessive amounts of Tequila on his birthday, which led to Tagbo’s death.
Davido and Dammy Krane have been in a long-standing feud, starting with Dammy accusing Davido of owing him money.
Davido defended himself by mentioning the support he had provided to Dammy Krane in the past, including offering him accommodation.
However, Dammy Krane insisted that this support did not cancel out the financial debt.
This disagreement has escalated over time, with Dammy Krane frequently calling out Davido on social media and accusing him of being a consistent debtor.
Dammy Krane even claimed that Davido had attempted to kill him, recounting a dangerous incident at a Lagos nightclub last year.
