It appears that the ongoing feud between the Okoye brothers has now extended to their wives.
Ify Okoye, the wife of Jude Okoye, the elder brother of Psquare, has recently unfollowed Lola Omotayo Okoye, Peter’s wife, on Instagram.
This was discovered by Naija traffic, who checked Ifeoma’s Instagram page and noticed the unfollowing.
However, Lola Okoye is still following Ify at the time of this report.
Last year in June, controversial blogger Stella Dimokokorkus alleged that there was a growing dispute between the Psquare brothers and their elder brother, Jude Okoye.
This was said to be due to allegations of misappropriation of joint funds by Jude Okoye, with claims that the EFCC (Economic and Financial Crimes Commission) was involved and that Jude had been detained.
In July, Instagram blogger Cutie Juls further alleged that Paul and Jude Okoye had been arrested by the commission.
Paul confirmed this by expressing his joy on Instagram after receiving clearance from the commission.
During an interview, Paul spoke about his relationship with his twin brother, recounting how Peter had played a role in their arrest by the commission in December 2023.
Fortunately, after a thorough investigation, Paul was declared innocent of all allegations.
He also confirmed that Peter was the one who had caused the arrest of their older brother, Jude Okoye.
In response to Paul’s interview on Monday, Peter refuted the allegations by explaining that he had only lodged a complaint with the commission against their older brother after uncovering his scheme to transfer their money into a hidden account that he shared with his wife.
Peter clarified that he never intended for his twin brother to be arrested.
Subsequently, Ify Okoye decided to unfollow Lola Okoye on social media.
This action sparked a positive reaction from internet users, who praised Lola for handling the situation with maturity.
