‘Slap de expire after 3 years’ – Peruzzi

Date:

Singer Peruzzi is not one to forget easily, especially when provoked, and he demonstrated this when influencer Pamilerin playfully interacted with him on Twitter.

Pamilerin greeted Peruzzi with a simple ‘Hi’ on Twitter, and in response, the singer took the opportunity to remind him of their unpleasant past.

Peruzzi and Pamilerin reminisced about their incident in 2019.

Peruzzi stated that a slap loses its impact after three years, and jokingly suggested that Pamilerin should seek confirmation from the Divisional Police Officer (DPO).

For those who are unaware of the Peruzzi and Pamilerin saga, here’s a quick recap. It all began when the social media platform was still known as Twitter.

Pamilerin mocked Peruzzi for his loss at the Headies Awards in 2019.

Pamilerin posted several tweets, mocking Peruzzi for not winning at the Headies Awards in 2019.

He even went further to insinuate that Peruzzi couldn’t produce a hit song without featuring someone else.

Pamilerin continued to throw shade at Peruzzi.

Peruzzi took the disagreement beyond Twitter and resorted to physical confrontation.

He slapped Pamilerin at an event, resulting in Pamilerin having a red eye.

Following the incident, Peruzzi expressed his remorse, acknowledging that he was at fault for physically assaulting someone.

However, he revealed that his emotions were deeply affected by the derogatory remarks made by Pamilerin about him on Twitter.

Davido, speaking on behalf of Peruzzi, also extended his apologies. In his statement, he wrote the following:

”I apologize to you @thepamilerin on behalf
of my Brother and Artist @Peruzzi VIBES he
was wrong for putting his hands on you but
pple need to realize that we Artist are human
beings and we see everything!

You said some harsh words too my brother and sometimes this thing dey pain!”

The Peruzzi and Pamilerin incident created a significant buzz in 2019, resulting in numerous online memes instead of empathy for the influencer who was hurt.

It is not uncommon for celebrities to directly confront trolls, and actor Jim Iyke once famously visited his troll and taught him a lesson he would never forget.

However, instead of resorting to physical altercations, some celebrities choose to involve the legal system by having their trolls arrested.

Toyin Abraham is one such celebrity who took this route, but unfortunately, the internet reacted negatively towards her decision.
