CEO of Ashluxe breaks silence after police incident with Caroline Hutchings and Shan George

Date:

Yinka Ash, CEO of Ashluxe, has issued a statement addressing the recent altercation between his building’s security team and celebrities Shan George and Caroline Hutchings, aiming to provide clarity and context to the incident.

”I have been made aware of the incident that occurred on our office premises on Saturday, 18.08.2024 [8:30pm-10:00pm].

Once we became aware of the incident, we immediately notified the appropriate authorities and are now fully cooperating with their investigation.

I have personally extended my apologies and support to Caroline Hutchings and Shan George, and I want to assure the public that our organization strongly condemns and does not tolerate any form of violence, assault, or harassment.

Before releasing his statement, Yinka Ash faced criticism from Caroline Hutchings, who accused him of being rude and unbothered about the situation, citing a history of disrespect towards women.

This incident is not the first controversy for Ashluxe; recently, Yinka Ash publicly called out singer Lyta for wearing a fake version of his brand, leading to widespread backlash. Lyta responded by referencing the incident in his new song.

Despite these controversies, Ashluxe remains a prominent brand in Nigeria, with notable clients like Yhemolee and Davido.

Yinka Ash has pledged to continue cooperating with authorities and engaging with those involved in the current incident.
