In an interview in May, Lateef Adedimeji reminisced about his early days as an actor, recalling how he was paid a mere N4,000 for a lead role.

He also shared the valuable advice his father gave him during that time, which has likely contributed to his perseverance and success in the industry.

Lateef Adedimeji has previously shared stories of his humble beginnings, including being paid a meager N5,000 for a lead role.

He had reflected on his early days as a young actor, recalling how he unintentionally made people laugh, which opened doors for him and helped launch his career.

This is not the first time he has spoken publicly about his struggles with low pay in the early days of his acting career.

Lateef Adedimeji’s career has experienced significant growth, earning him well-deserved recognition for his talent.

Although he was nominated for Best Actor in a Lead Role at the 10th AMVCA edition and didn’t win, losing to Wole Ojo, he had previously received an award for his outstanding performance in Femi Adebayo’s film “Jagun Jagun”.

He was deeply humbled to share the stage with Nollywood legends, considering it a moment he would always treasure.
