CAREER

Gibson’s journey in the music industry began with a Coca-Cola commercial in 1994, which opened doors for him to work with bigger brands like Guess and Tommy Hilfiger.

He was eventually signed to RCA Records in 1998, and his debut single “Nobody Else” gained popularity and climbed the charts.

Following his successful debut, Gibson released his second album titled “2000 Watts,” which achieved Gold status and featured hits like “I Like Them Girls.”

His third album, “I Wanna Go There,” produced his most successful single to date, “How You Gonna Act Like That.”

In a surprising move, Gibson released his fourth studio album, “Alter Ego,” in 2006. This double-disc album showcased his rapping skills, but despite the release of the single “One,” it became his lowest-selling album.

In 2007, Gibson teamed up with Ginuwine and Tank to form the group TGT. After a period of hiatus, he made a comeback to music in 2011 with his album “Open Invitation,” which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart.

They tied the knot on Valentine’s Day of the same year and welcomed their daughter into the world in October 2018. Unfortunately, their relationship took a turn for the worse, and they announced their divorce in December 2020.
