Firm Will Hold A Tree Planting Event In October To Help Fight Climate Change

In an endeavor to address the impacts of climate change, the climate technology firm, Eki Co-Net, announced its plan to spearhead the biggest tree planting initiative in Africa on October 1st, 2024, coinciding with Nigeria’s independence day.

The company’s CEO, Aigboviose Omage, emphasized in a statement that this undertaking mirrors the company’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions through its innovative digital solutions and tree planting projects, representing a meaningful stride towards a sustainable future.

The event, which is anticipated to draw thousands of participants, will kick off at the National Stadium in Abuja and will serve as the starting point for the tree planting campaign.

Eki Co-Net extended an invitation to individuals from all walks of life to join in, fostering connections with like-minded people, endorsing an important environmental cause, and contributing to the worldwide battle against climate change.
