EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Folabi Nuel was born on January 7, 1992, in Lagos State, Nigeria. He grew up singing in the choir and began writing songs as a teenager while in secondary school. Initially, music served as a source of comfort and a means of expressing his emotions.
Over time, he started composing worship songs for his fellowship choir during his secondary school years.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the Federal University of Agriculture in Abeokuta, Ogun State, and later obtained an MBA in International Business from Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia in Spain.
CAREER
Folabi Nuel’s musical journey began at a young age, but he officially launched his career in 2015 with the release of his debut single, “God of Heaven,” which reached number one on both “Rhythm 93.7FM” and the “Holy Holla Top 5” charts for several weeks following its release.
Later that same year, he followed up with his second single, “Everlasting,” and in 2017, he released another track titled “My Heart.” His first album, “Good God,” came out in 2017.
In 2020, he released his second live album, “Hunger – From Our Heart to Yours,” which featured 15 tracks and collaborations with gospel artists such as Nosa, TY Bello, Freke Umoh, Prospa Ochimana, and Minister Kenn. His next album, “Revival Is In The Air (RIITA),” was released in July 2022.
Folabi Nuel launched his debut extended play, “Songs From My Bedroom,” in May 2020.
In September 2022, he followed up with his second EP, “Bobibi,” which featured artists such as Remii, Johnny Drille, and Timi Dakolo.
This EP, released on his wedding day, was a collection of romantic love songs, including tracks like “911,” “Be Mine,” and “For You.”
On April 7, 2023, he released a single titled “He’s Alive,” featuring gospel artist Sunmisola Agbebi.

Folabi Nuel tied the knot with Gboremi in September 2022.
