She made her debut in November 2020 with the single “Amazing,” but she rose to fame that same year with her hit song “Koseunti,” which is a modern rendition of a classic worship song from the Christ Apostolic Church.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

Sunmisola Agbebi was born on May 2, 1998, in Lagos State, Nigeria, to Mr. and Mrs. Kayode Agbebi.

After completing her secondary education at Sagab College in Ikorodu, Lagos, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree at the National Open University of Nigeria.

CAREER

Sunmisola began her singing career at a very young age, with her first performance taking place when she was just four years old. In 2017, she won the Ikorodu Radio Music Challenge.

In November 2020, she released her debut single, “Amazing,” which was first showcased on YouTube by EmPawa Africa.

Two years later, in February 2022, she gained significant recognition with her hit single “Koseunti,” produced by Efe Mac Roc.

In October 2022, Sunmisola hosted a live music concert titled “AIIIH,” which stands for “As Is It In Heaven,” at the Charis Event Center in Lagos State.

During this event, she unveiled a revamped version of her popular song “My Daddy My Daddy,” featuring the original artist, Lawrence Oyor.

In November 2022, she was invited to perform “The Garden of Our Heart” at the Dubai Expo, sharing the stage with Grammy Award winner A R Rahman and the Firdaus Orchestra.

In December 2022, Sunmisola took part in an annual Christmas concert alongside musician Joe Mettle.

Then, in April 2023, she collaborated with Folabi Nuel on a song called “He’s Alive.”

PERSONAL LIFE

On March 2, 2023, Sunmisola became engaged to her fellow gospel artist, Yinka Okeleye, during an intimate private ceremony.

They held their marriage introduction on March 5, 2023, at her home in Lagos State, Nigeria.
