Earlier this year, Funke made history as the first Nigerian filmmaker to surpass N1 billion at the box office with her movie, A Tribe Called Judah, which grossed an impressive N1.4 billion.

Funke’s remarkable success comes as no surprise, given her reputation as one of Nollywood’s most diligent and talented professionals. Her recent films:

1. A Tribe Called Judah

2. Battle on Buka Street

3. Omo Ghetto: The Saga

have consistently topped the charts, becoming the highest-grossing Nollywood films to date, solidifying Funke’s position as a box office powerhouse.

Mercy Aigbe achieved remarkable success with her debut cinema production, “Ada Omo Daddy,” which resonated well with Nigerian audiences. She was overjoyed when the movie Grossed ₩180.7 million and also Became the 3rd highest-grossing movie.

This accomplishment was particularly notable, considering the competitive landscape dominated by industry heavyweights like Funke Akindele and Toyin Abraham. Mercy’s triumph marked a significant milestone in her producing career, demonstrating her capacity to deliver impactful, box-office-winning content.
