DKT Nigeria Provides Family Planning Services To 500 Women

Date:

To mark World Contraception Day, DKT International Nigeria assisted 500 women by providing free family planning services and education to enhance their overall health and well-being.

This two-day initiative, held in Lagos and Abuja, offered women in underserved communities access to quality family planning methods, health screenings, and counseling to promote informed decision-making in reproductive health.

DKT International Nigeria collaborated with key health ministries in Lagos and Abuja to organize the outreach, which included distributing condoms and lubricants to encourage safe sex practices.

The event began with an awareness walk followed by a health talk at the Oyingbo Market in Lagos State to educate attendees on family planning and reproductive health.

Free vital checks were also provided to attendees to ensure they had access to basic health screenings.

Through strategic partnerships and community engagement, DKT International Nigeria was able to reach as many women as possible and provide them with the necessary support to incorporate family planning methods into their daily lives.
