Police officers from the Nigeria Police Force took action to disband a group of #FearlessInOctober protests who had congregated at the Utako Market in Abuja.
According to reports, the protesters had come together at the market as early as 7:00am in the morning on Tuesday to raise their voices against the challenges that Nigerians are enduring as a result of government policies and initiatives.
Despite their peaceful gathering, the protesters were swiftly dispersed by the police at approximately 8:54 am.
The #FearlessInOctober protest on October 1 is a follow-up to the #EndBadGovernance protests that took place from August 1 to 10, addressing the economic difficulties faced by numerous Nigerians.
