Yomi Fabiyi releases footage of his hiding place before escaping Nigeria following alleged assassination attempt.
On Monday, 30th of September, Yomi Fabiyi revealed that he narrowly escaped assassination attempts twice, first two days prior and again on Sunday night, claiming that his life remains under threat, and had the attempts been successful, he would have lost his life by now. As reported by Naija Traffic Yomi Fabiyi cries out as he allegedly escapes assassination attempts, goes into hiding.
Yomi, currently in hiding, claimed that his life is under threat due to his advocacy for justice, stating that despite not receiving payment from anyone, there are plans to harm him, and he refuses to become a martyr or “a test subject” for his principles.
Currently, Yomi Fabiyi posted a video of his hiding place, revealing he has fled Nigeria and is now in a foreign country with a functional justice system, where authorities don’t condone or cover up crimes like murder and homicide.
“This was where I was hidden and slept over before I was taken straight from here to the AIRPORT. Thank God for life.
I am definitely coming back shortly after some serious procedures. I must live to tell the story of my own war. I have preserved my life and live to fight another day.
I am happy they couldn’t get me, my phones, and access my archive.
Thank you guys. I am 95% in a safe country where the system works for everybody equally, where the government and their police don’t cover up murder, homicide, etc.
NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER.
Aluta Continua!”.
Yomi Fabiyi’s reported assassination attempt may be linked to his involvement in seeking justice for the late singer Mohbad, whose death has sparked controversy.
Sometime last month, Yomi Fabiyi revealed plans to conduct a private probe into Mohbad’s death, opting to keep details confidential for security and privacy reasons.
Yomi Fabiyi visited CURA_MED hospital, where Mohbad was treated, and shares a video acknowledging the hospital’s proper handling of the case, citing convincing evidence.
