Former Chief of Army Staff, Retired Lieutenant General Kenneth Minimah, along with other notable individuals from the state, has lauded Rivers Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
He commended the Governor for overseeing the well-organized and prosperous local government elections that took place on October 5, 2024.
In a statement issued recently, Minimah commended Fubara’s commitment to ensuring the smooth execution of the elections, hailing the process as a significant accomplishment for the state.
Minimah stated, “I wish to praise Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara for the seamless conduct of the local government elections and his resolve in ensuring the elections took place.”
Minimah also advised Fubara to continue strongly pushing forward with the state’s progress and encouraged politicians to focus on the well-being of the people they represent.
He added, “This development and the successful local government elections signify Governor Fubara’s administration’s commitment to the people at the grassroots.”
He also commended the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission and the residents of Rivers for their contributions in guaranteeing the peaceful and organized execution of the elections.
