Davido appears to have given up on his custody battle with Sophia Momodu, his first baby mama, over their daughter.
Sophia filed a 102-paragraph affidavit opposing Davido’s request for joint custody, citing concerns about his lifestyle, his use of their daughter to get back at her, and the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
Davido responded on Instagram, feeling that Sophia is using the tragedy of his son’s death to haunt him daily.
He believes his daughter will eventually know he fought for her. However, a fan page supporting Tiwa Savage defended Sophia, telling Davido to stop playing the victim and acknowledging that Sophia raised valid safety concerns as a mother fighting for her child.
“Don’t use your deceased child to play the victim! She raised a safety concern. Which is very, very valid. She is fighting for her child”.
Davido responded by saying that Sophia can have full custody of their daughter, Imade. He tweeted, “Let her keep her,”
