Early Life and Education

Esther Audu, born on March 22, 1982 in Ikeja, Lagos state, moved to Abuja with her family in 2002 after completing primary and junior secondary schools in Lagos.

She finished her secondary education in Abuja and then enrolled in the University of Jos, Plateau State in 2006 to pursue a degree in Business Management. She successfully graduated with a BA in Business Management in 2010.

Career

Esther Ene developed a strong interest in acting while she was in secondary school, participating in Drama and Literary clubs. Her passion for acting grew even more when she represented Nigeria at Kidafest in Ghana in 1996.

This experience made her realize that she wanted to pursue acting instead of her original aspiration of becoming a newscaster.

She rose to fame in the acting industry after starring in prominent movies such as “Ungodly Romance” and “Sins of Rachael,” which served as her introduction to Nollywood.

Despite being an undergraduate student, she managed to juggle her studies while actively pursuing her acting career. Additionally, she also took on a supporting role in the film “Fatal Mistake,” directed by Norbert Ajagu.
