To make matters worse, Nigerians are reporting her in large numbers to the streaming platform Netflix, requesting that her movies be removed.
A social media user shared a screenshot of his letter to Netflix, encouraging others to do the same.
In the letter, he asked Netflix to boycott her movies, expressing disappointment in the mistreatment, especially considering Netflix’s reputation for diverse and inclusive content.
The user urged Netflix to take a strong stance against such behavior and show a commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all viewers.
Twitter influencer Danny Young threatened to mass report Toyin’s Instagram page and send emails to Netflix if Ayo is not released.
Naija traffic recently reported that Toyin is currently trending on Twitter, now known as X, after being accused of arresting someone’s mother.
In response to the accusation, Toyin stated that she can handle people insulting her and calling her names, but she draws the line when it comes to people cursing her children and spreading lies.
She clarified that she did not arrest the person’s mother, but rather reported a case of cybercrime as a concerned citizen.
During an Instagram Live session, Toyin emphasized that she never arrested anyone’s mother and was simply exercising her democratic rights.

Toyin declared that she is willing to die, but before that happens, she will ensure that those who bullied and defamed her face consequences.
