El-Rufai said nobody is too big to be voted out of power

Date:

Bashir El-Rufai, son of the ex-governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, stated that no one is so important or influential that they cannot be voted out of power by the general public. In other words, he believes that even the most powerful individuals can be replaced through the democratic process of elections.

In a recent online post, Bashir El-Rufai cautioned that the 2027 general elections could witness a surprising outcome without any repercussions.

Bashir El-Rufai encouraged people to ignore intimidations and be patient. He stated that even organizations like the IMF and the World Bank won’t come to the rescue of the “people” when the time comes. He also mentioned that political strategists are primarily concerned about Lagos.

He stated, “Nobody is too big to be elected out of office by the people. It will happen and wallahi nothing will happen. So forget all these intimidations flying up and down. Let us be patient.

“Even the IMF & World Bank no go save una that time. Political strategist una. That one na for Lagos.”

In another post, Bashir El-Rufai clarified that he didn’t mention any particular person’s name. He strongly held his position that he will not be pressured into supporting a failed style of governance that uses a divisive and dangerous ethnocentric political strategy.

“I didn’t call names o, but due to their guilt, they already know who is being spoken about. Wallahi, none of you will force anyone to support this utter failure of governance disguised as useless, dangerous ethnocentric political strategy

During the 2023 presidential campaign, President Bola Tinubu was widely recognized and acknowledged as a highly skilled strategist.
