Awele Irene Itegbe, a social media user, has recreated Bobrisky’s infamous mugshot for her Final Year costume day, generating buzz online.
As already known, Bobrisky was arrested by the EFCC and sentenced to 6 months in prison, and his mugshot was released during the trial.
Awele’s recreation shows her wearing a similar outfit to Bobrisky’s, with a humorous twist, claiming she was “arrested” for “BBL (Body Enhancement) abuse” unlike Bobrisky’s “Naira abuse”.
Awele Irene Itegbe, in a playful manner, called for Bobrisky’s release, but quickly clarified that she was only joking, adding that she wasn’t prepared for people to start demanding justice on her behalf.
“EFCC because, quite frankly, I’m not ready to do FreeAwele.
Free Bobrisky”.

Remember that, Bobrisky was arrested by the EFCC in April for abusing the Naira and was sentenced to 6 months in prison after pleading guilty.
Despite his promise to use his social media influence to educate others against Naira abuse, the judge did not show leniency.
There were reports that Bobrisky was transferred to Kirikiri prison for security reasons and due to its larger capacity, but an official from the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) denied this, stating that he remained at Ikoyi prison as his offense did not warrant a transfer to a maximum-security facility like Kirikiri, which typically holds inmates serving life or death sentences.
