Alesh Sanni has expressed his support for Toyin Abraham, a fellow Nollywood actor, who has been facing criticism from angry Nigerians.
Toyin was accused of detaining someone’s mother, but she denied the claim, stating that the mother chose to stay at the police station due to her son’s arrest.
In response, Nigerians reported her movies to Netflix and called for a boycott.
Alesh spoke out against the bitterness and frustration of these individuals, noting that their actions were fueled by hatred and jealousy.
He highlighted the extent of the bullying Toyin faced, including threats towards her child, and defended her decision to arrest one of her trolls.
Alesh dismissed their attacks as mere ranting and called it witchcraft.
“Some Nigerians are on another level of bitterness. Damn! Frustrated souls looking for who to recruit into their fucking frustrations. You would think most of them are fighting for good governance. Meanwhile, it’s nothing but hatred and jealousy. Y’all bully a woman to the extent of cursing her child and instigating death on a young, innocent soul? Damn!! She retaliated by arresting the culprit.
Now, y’all formed a motion to report her hard work Netflix movies and calling for a ban on all her movie appearances. Wow!! Una deserve una govt cause most of y’all are even wicked than the people in govt. Cause wtf is this witchcraft for? On top of one hardened bully that deserves jail term for threat to life. Alesh Sanni was not the sole person to express support for Toyin. Saidi Balogun slammed those who were harassing her, pointing out that people often involve the police to apprehend their neighbors for minor offenses, but when it comes to a celebrity, they turn it into a case of bullying.
Biola Bayo stated her unsuccessful attempts to reach out to Toyin multiple times. She prayed that God would support and empower Toyin Abraham during this challenging period, ensuring that her success and influence would never fade away.
