Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has once again found himself in controversy, this time involving a bike man.
The street singer, who recently came back from America, caused a scene in Lagos as he got into a physical altercation with a bike man whom he accused of stealing his phone.
Videos circulating online show the singer, wearing a yellow hoodie, involved in a fistfight with the bike man while onlookers in Lagos tried to intervene and separate them.
As anticipated, numerous individuals on social media shared their opinions, with a significant number expressing their dissatisfaction towards his frequent dispute.
Oba Catalyst commented, “This guy needs a good medical (psychologist and therapist) team around him 24/7. He needs help”.
One, Taiwo Junzi commented, “His management has a lot of work to do before he becomes more infamous than he already is”.
Another person, Oludare Omotolani commented, “No wonder God separated him from Davido by fire by thunder”.
And, Jey Nnie commented, “How did this guy become a celebrity, Biko?”.
Also, Slim Kiki commented, “But how did this guy end up being a celebrity?”.
Another person, Banti Blogger commented, “See person wey just come back from Yankee”.
And, Miss Chidel commented, “Why is it that he’s always trending for the wrongest things, eh? Portable is actually a case study?”.
Also, Lauly Fabulous commented, “Funny thing is that he was so calm in America. Why didn’t he misbehave there?”.
Earlier this year, the Nigerian-American singer Esquare brutally assaulted Portable for not fulfilling his performance obligations at their concert.
Portable described the incident, stating that he was attacked by a group of 40 people who severely injured him and caused a broken leg.
In response, Esquare denied the allegations of assaulting Portable and provided their own account of the incident.
After the altercation, Portable was hospitalized and expressed his frustration to the Nigerian public, questioning why there was no outcry for justice despite the abundance of evidence supporting his claims.
He wondered if justice was only sought for deceased individuals in Nigeria.
