Subsequently, in 1974, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law. 
CAREER
Willie Gary established the initial law firm for Black individuals in Martin County, commencing his extraordinary legal journey when he was 27 years old.
He has achieved significant victories in prominent cases, such as a $500 million judgment against Loewen Group in 1995 and a $240 million judgment against Disney in 2000.
In 2019, he successfully obtained a $23 billion judgment against R.J. Reynolds, although it was subsequently reversed.
Gary’s exceptional skills have earned him the nickname “The Giant Killer.”
