A user on X (formerly Twitter) shared a personal anecdote about Wizkid, stating that the singer never responded or acknowledged their birthday wishes during the height of his song “Essence” from the “Made In Lagos” album, but ironically acknowledged birthday wishes from fans on his recent birthday.
The user on X (formerly Twitter) noted that Wizkid’s relatively quiet period in terms of hit songs seems to have humbled him, leading him to appreciate and acknowledge the birthday wishes from fans this year, unlike in the past when he didn’t respond to their messages.
