EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Folabi Nuel, was born on January 7, 1992 in Lagos State, Nigeria, developed a passion for music during his childhood years in the choir.
As a teenager in secondary school, he began composing songs as a means of self-comfort and emotional expression.
Over time, he honed his skills and started writing worship songs specifically for his fellowship choir in secondary school.
He pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the Federal University of Agriculture in Ogun State.
Additionally, he obtained an MBA in International Business from Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia in Spain.
CAREER
Folabi Nuel began singing at a young age, but his official music career started in 2015 with his first single “God of Heaven,” which reached number one on the “Rhythm 93.7FM” and “Holy Holla Top 5” charts for several weeks.
He followed up with his second single, “Everlasting,” later that year. In 2017, he released another single called “My Heart.”
His debut album, “Good God,” was released in 2017. In 2020, Folabi Nuel released his second album, “Hunger – From Our Heart to Yours,” which was recorded live and featured gospel artists such as Nosa, TY Bello, Freke Umoh, Prospa Ochimana, and Minister Kenn. His next album, “Revival Is In The Air (RIITA),” was released in July 2022.
In May 2020, Folabi Nuel released his first extended play (EP) titled “Songs From My Bedroom.” In September 2022, he released his second EP, “Bobibi,” which featured artists like Remii, Johnny Drille, and Timi Dakolo.
This EP, which was released on his wedding day, consisted of romantic and love songs, including tracks like “911,” “Be Mine,” and “For You.”
