‘Begging is now hard; you will need grace and extra skill’ – Do2dtun laments

Nigerian radio host Do2dtun expressed his concerns about the current economic difficulties and how they have significantly impacted the act of begging.

In an Instagram post, he highlighted the challenges of begging, stating that it now requires exceptional grace and additional skills.

He attributed this difficulty to the struggling economy, which has already predetermined the methods and approaches used in begging.

“Begging is now very hard. You will need grace and extra skill. The economy affected begging too. All the format don cast”.

In a different social media post, he encouraged people to acquire a skill because education alone is insufficient.

He emphasized that one must find their own opportunities rather than waiting for someone else to provide them.

In another tweet, he observed how even the most affordable meal has become costly and advised his supporters to eat with intention and avoid wasting food.

“Now it’s time to develop a skill as you get an education. You need both how. Nobody will give you the barber chair now o! Find your own.

The cheapest meal is now expensive. Eat with a purpose.

Don’t waste food. Food is Gold now”.

“E don red o! Let us not pretend. This one e don red. Account balance don red o! Shey na like this we go dey de?”.

She revealed that a crate of eggs was being sold for N6000 in her area.

slamming the government, she suggested that eggs should be banned in the country and even expressed doubts about the authenticity of the eggs.

Yoruba actress Yewande Adekola Abiodun also expressed her deep dissatisfaction with the skyrocketing price of a bag of Garri, which is now being sold for N80,000.

She highlighted how Garri used to be an affordable staple for the poor, but now it has become unaffordable.

During the festive season last year, Mary Njoku cried out about the hardships and the state of the economy in the country.

She revealed that despite spending N100k at the supermarket, her shopping cart was still not full, emphasizing the high cost of living.
