Portable, a controversial singer, has sparked another controversy, this time with DJ Chicken, a disc jockey and socialite.
A viral video shows Portable provoking a fight with his rival backstage at Comedian Kenny Blaq’s show in Lagos on Sunday.
Apparently, Kenny Blaq had invited Portable to the event, where he encountered DJ Chicken, with whom he has a long-standing feud.
The video captures Portable trying to confront DJ Chicken, but security intervened, preventing a physical altercation. Portable has since threatened to instruct his associates to assault DJ Chicken, escalating the situation.
The feud between Portable and DJ Chicken stems from a past incident where DJ Chicken questioned Portable’s claims of wealth on Instagram Live.
DJ Chicken suggested that if Portable was truly wealthy, he would have replaced his car after an accident, implying that Portable’s boasts were exaggerated.
He also claimed to have more financial resources than Portable and warned him against trying to match his lavish spending habits, which could lead to financial ruin.
Additionally, there were allegations in 2022 that Portable had sent individuals to assault DJ Chicken, further fueling their animosity. The exact cause of their rift remains unclear, but these incidents have contributed to their ongoing dispute.

This is the second fight the singer would be engaging in since his return from the US weeks back.
Recall that Portable, the singer of the hit song “Zazoo”, was involved in a public altercation in Lagos, where he physically fought a motorcycle rider (okada man) whom he accused of stealing his phone.
