Adanma Luke, a Nollywood actress and filmmaker, has responded to a malicious message from a woman who falsely accused her of killing her late colleague, Junior Pope.
The woman sent a vile message via DM, cursing Adanma and wishing death upon her 6-month-old baby. Adanma stood firm, questioning the woman’s authority to speak against her and declaring her trust in God’s protection.
She refused to be intimidated, defending her innocent child from the woman’s harmful words and asserting her fearlessness in the face of death threats.
Adanma Luke shared her experiences of being insulted and maligned by people she had treated kindly, but she chose not to respond.
She observed that many individuals seem to take pleasure in seeing her suffer. In response to the woman’s vicious message, Adanma placed a curse, stating that if she was truly innocent, the woman would ultimately regret her actions.
Adanma revealed that she had taken a break from work for months, and despite her struggles to provide for her family and support the families of the victims, no one showed concern.
However, the woman’s hurtful message gave her the strength to return to social media, as she no longer feels the need to prove herself to anyone.

Adanma Luke, had faced intense criticism after Junior Pope and others drowned in Anambra State’s Anam River while returning from her movie set on April 8th.
In her first public statement, Adanma expressed trauma and self-blame, revealing she had provided life jackets and was supposed to be on the boat with the victims. She emphasized the incident still feels like a nightmare.
In a subsequent post, Adanma addressed false allegations, highlighting her collaboration with the victims’ families to provide financial support, asserting her humanity and compassion.
However, the Actors Guild of Nigeria’s recent decision to lift Adanma’s suspension and ban on riverine movie productions, just four months after the tragedy, sparked outrage.
