Mr Ajang Iliya, a member of the Labour Party (LP) in the House of Representatives, representing the Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, Plateau State, has switched to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
It happened less than a week after the party lost five members to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The House Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas announced Mr Ajang’s defection during the plenary session.
While reading the letter to APC, he cited “the crisis in the leadership of the Labour Party,” and other causes for the switch.
Mr Ajang said he finds it difficult to support the policies of the party on different situations.
