“Bob of Lagos, you’re strong” – Moyo Lawal, Alesh Sanni countdown to Bobrisky’s release from prison

Date:

Nollywood stars Moyo Lawal and Alesh Sanni are eagerly awaiting the release of Bobrisky, who was sentenced to 6 months in jail for Naira abuse.

Naija traffic had reported that Bobrisky was arrested in April, pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to Ikoyi Correctional Center. With prison terms counting both day and night separately, his 6-month sentence effectively becomes 3 months, making this week his expected release time.

Moyo Lawal took to Instagram to announce the start of the countdown to Bobrisky’s release, affectionately referring to him as her “original bestie”.

“The countdown is officially on for the original bestie @bobrisky222”.

Alesh Sanni also showed support for Bobrisky, admiring his resilience and believing that his incarceration serves a higher purpose. He has been sending Bobrisky’s favorite food to him in prison, demonstrating his loyalty and care.

‘Oh yesssssss, that’s my Bob of Lagos. Counting down. you strong Bob…… I know God is keeping you for a reason …… @bobrisky222 oyaaaaaaaao I don send you those food from @taste_la_toks like we do always …..”.

Alesh Sanni had previously criticized his colleagues for abandoning Bobrisky after his sentence, accusing them of using him for their own gain without showing support when he needed it.

He pointed out the hypocrisy of celebrities who welcomed Bobrisky at their events despite his controversial lifestyle, but failed to stand by him in his time of need.

Meanwhile, ahead of his release, Bobrisky has made amends with his former friend Tonto Dikeh, indicating a newfound peace between them.
