Born to Mr. and Mrs. Chukwu in Surulere, Lagos, he originates from Ebonyi State. He has three additional siblings, a brother and two sisters, whose names remain undisclosed.

EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION

During his childhood, Crayon had the pleasure of having three siblings around him, undoubtedly bringing happiness and companionship to his early years.

Crayon, a talented artist, released his first EP, Cray Cray, in July 2019, demonstrating his remarkable range of skills.

The EP effortlessly combined Afrobeat, Afropop, and contemporary R&B, with notable songs like So Fine and Gock Am receiving widespread praise.

These achievements firmly established Crayon as a promising newcomer in the music world.

In May 2019, Crayon officially became a part of Blowtime Entertainment, a subsidiary of the well-known Mavin Records, which was a significant moment in his career.

He continued to impress audiences with subsequent releases, including popular singles like Jackpot featuring Bella Shmurda and Ijo (Laba Laba), showcasing his talent and versatility.

In March 2021, Crayon released his highly anticipated second EP, Twelve A.M, which further demonstrated his artistic growth and maturity.

Fans are now eagerly awaiting the release of his debut studio album, Trench to Triumph, scheduled for December 2023, as each project contributes to his rise as a prominent figure in the music industry.

Crayon’s musical journey began in 2008 when he crossed paths with record producer Ozedikus, known for producing hits like Rema’s Corny.

He was discovered by Baby Fresh, a producer under Mavin Records, and on May 25, 2019, he was signed to BlowTime Entertainment, a label under Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.

His versatility and talent were showcased through his contributions to Mavins all-stars’ All Is In Order and Ladipoe’s Based On Kpa, which gained significant attention.

On July 12, 2019, Crayon released his official project, the six-track EP Cray Cray, under Blowtime Entertainment/Mavin Records.

The EP included the well-received single So Fine, accompanied by a music video directed by Clarence Peters.
