- Naijatraffic Learnt that ,The Ogun state Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) , Mr Anthony Uga stated that 35 persons died and 149 injured in 49 road crashes in Ogun between June, 1 and June 27. He gave the figure on Tuesday in Ota Ogun.
The Sector Commander implored motorists to always obey traffic rules and regulations to minimise unnecessary loss of lives on the highways after blaming most of the accidents on reckless driving, wrongful overtaking, night traveling, excessive speed and so on.
“The FRSC want to enjoin motorists to reduce their speeds and also install speed limit devices on their vehicles to reduce fatality rates in case of accidents.
“In addition, they should refrain from dangerous driving and wrongful overtaking to stem road crashes,” he Pointed out.
The road should be made safer for the commters he said and went ahead to reiterated the corps’ commitment to collaborate with other sister agencies in other to achive this goal.
