Additionally, Chief Priest informed Flavour that he, along with other high-profile friends, whom he referred to as “Big Ballers”, would be visiting Umunze to offer support and pay their respects.

Flavour has achieved significant success in his career, notably in 2022 when he reportedly secured a lucrative deal with Amazon Prime worth millions of dollars.

As part of the agreement, he received an advance payment of $3 million for the production of his biopic, which will be featured on the streaming platform, marking a major milestone in his career.

In 2022, Flavour’s career reached new heights as he landed a multi-million dollar deal with Amazon Prime, receiving a $3 million advance for his biopic, set to premiere on the platform, a testament to his hard work and dedication, solidifying his position as a leading figure in the music industry.

In a recent interview, Flavour shared his thoughts on genre classification, stating that his music is simply “African” and can be encompassed under the Afrobeats umbrella.

However, he emphasized the need for the African entertainment industry to promote and explore other genres beyond Afrobeats, highlighting the continent’s diverse musical offerings.

He suggested that Afrobeats should be seen as just one aspect of African music, rather than the sole defining category.
