Nigerian clergyman and musician Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, also known as Odumeje, sparked online discussion after his Sunday sermon clips circulated online, in which he discussed foreseeing a fire at Aliko Dangote’s refinery and attributing it to Dangote’s alleged disdain for him.
In a viral video, Pastor Odumeje claimed to have prophesied a fire outbreak at Aliko Dangote’s refinery in Ibeju-Lekki, which later occurred, and attributed the incident to Dangote’s alleged disrespect towards him.
He boasted about predicting the fire incident at Dangote’s refinery, claiming he had warned the billionaire about the impending disaster and even advised him on how to prevent it, implying that Dangote’s failure to heed his warning led to the calamity.
He also claimed that Aliko Dangote disregarded his warnings about the fire accident, and now the clergyman is dictating conditions for Dangote’s refinery to resume operations and produce fuel, implying that Dangote must seek his approval or blessing to overcome the challenges facing the refinery.
He stated that Aliko Dangote’s refinery will remain non-operational until Dangote visits his church in Anambra state, allows him to lay hands on him, and receives his prayer and blessing.
This condition, according to the pastor, is mandatory for the refinery to resume production.

Recall that Nkechi Blessing Sunday, an actress, unexpectedly came to the defense of Pastor Chukwuemeka Odumeje, dismissing rumors that he is a fake pastor.
She shared her personal experience with him, which led her to believe in his authenticity and vouch for his credibility, contrary to popular opinion.
“The first time I had an encounter with Odumeje, I was shocked to my bone marrow. The man will tell you everything about your life. He’s not just telling you, he’s giving you the solution,” she said.
