Daniel Bwala declares that President Tinubu will lead for the next eight years

Date:

Barrister Daniel Bwala, who previously served as the spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar, the 2023 presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has stated that President Bola Tinubu will lead Nigeria for the next eight years.

In a post on his X account on Thursday, the Borno native Bwala made this assertion following a meeting that President Tinubu had with former Nigerian leaders and current governors at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The legal expert mentioned that the Council of State’s vote of confidence in Tinubu indicated that if he is elected in 2027, he will serve both of his terms in office.

He stated, “The passing of the vote of confidence by the council of state is a clear reminder to the political class whose idea of democracy is either they must be the ones in charge or must control who is in charge that our democracy has passed that stage.

“You may not like @officialABAT or his style of governance, but God willing, he is in charge and will be for the remainder of three years and renewable for another term (second term) if the Nigerian people vote him.

“Accept that reality and have peace of mind. We all say no to backdoor regime change,” he added.
