Veteran Nollywood actors, Jide Kosoko and Dele Odule, have reacted to Nkechi Blessing’s apology to TAMPAN , following a public dispute.
It was reported that Nkechi Blessing made a public apology at a Canadian award ceremony honoring Yoruba actors, kneeling to acknowledge her mistakes and seek forgiveness from TAMPAN leaders. She pleaded for the lifting of her industry ban.
Nkechi Blessing took to Instagram, expressing regret over past actions, saying she wishes she had prior knowledge. She thanked God for guidance and direction, then offered an unreserved apology to TAMPAN members, humbly seeking forgiveness and hoping they can find it in their hearts to pardon her.
Veteran actor Jide Kosoko accepted Nkechi Blessing’s apology via Instagram, clarifying that TAMPAN never banned her from the industry. He affectionately referred to her as his daughter, expressing goodwill and praying for God’s continued guidance in her life, effectively ending the dispute.
“Nkechi @nkechiblessingsunday Honestly, you are forgiving, even before the President’s pronouncement. There was never any action to keep you out of practice, to the best of my knowledge. You remain a daughter, and Almighty God will continue to be your guide and guard. Amen”.
Dele Odule also praised Nkechi Blessing’s apology in Jide Kosoko’s comment section, saying she has won his heart with her mature and heartfelt gesture. Noting he rarely comments on social media, Dele expressed admiration for Nkechi’s courageous and humble approach, demonstrating her growth and willingness to make amends.

Remember In 2021, Nkechi Blessing and Iyabo Ojo criticized Baba Ijesha, sparking a conflict with some TAMPAN members. In response, Jide Kosoko banned TAMPAN directors from collaborating with them. Nkechi Blessing ridiculed the decision, suggesting TAMPAN was trying to financially strangle influential individuals who could support entire generations, highlighting the potential consequences of their actions.
