Destiny Etiko applauds Nigerians over their patience following protest in Kenya

Date:

Destiny Etiko, a popular Nollywood actress, has expressed her admiration for Nigerians’ resilience and ability to remain positive despite the challenging economic conditions.

She specifically stated the recent protests in Kenya and highlighted how Nigerians continue to face each day with a smile on their faces.

Etiko praised Nigerians for their remarkable patience, considering them the most patient nation globally, and declared its citizens as VIPs.

“Nigerians are one of the most patient countries in the world. See how things are in the country? We still wake up, have smiles on our faces, and still push every day. Nigerians are VIPs”.

In response to this, while some agreed with her, others expressed their disagreement by pointing out the fear that Nigerians have when it comes to protesting against the government.

Nora Cynthia23 commented, “She did not lie though, instead of us to be serious and address the issue, we take everything as a joke. That’s one reason the government of this country will never listen to us”.

One, Dinah Abuh commented, “Nigerians are not patient our mumu too much”.

Another person, Viera Manny commented, “I swear”.

And, Precious Oge commented, “Lead the protest”.

Also, Chiskyetc commented, “Docile not patient”.

One, Wealth Smith017 commented, “Ajeh we sabi adapt”.

Another person, Percy Bobby4 commented, “Fears and patience are two different words, so don’t mix them up”.

And, Hyper Beatz commented, “I won’t call it patient but the fear of facing the government”.

Just a week ago, talent manager Paulo Okoye also stated that Nigerians are known for their patience and resilience.

Despite the difficult circumstances in the country, citizens wake up every day with smiles on their faces and continue to persevere.

He emphasized that the government takes advantage of our patience, declaring Nigerians as VIPs.

Few days ago, Uche Elendu expressed her frustration about the high price of a crate of eggs.

The actress revealed that in her area, a crate of eggs is being sold for N6000.

She called out the government, suggesting that they should ban eggs in the country, as she doubted that a chicken actually laid the eggs.

Earlier this month, Yoruba actress Yewande Adekola Abiodun bitterly complained about the skyrocketing price of a bag of Garri, which is now being sold for N80,000.

She highlighted how Garri used to be a staple food for the poor, but now it has become unaffordable.

Likewise, in February, Debbie Shokoya expressed her frustration about the high cost of living in the country.

She questioned which country she could easily relocate to, as she observed that a bag of rice was being sold for N90k.

During the festive period, Mary Njoku voiced her concerns about the hardship and the state of the economy in the country.

She shared that she spent N100k at the supermarket while shopping, but her shopping cart was still not full.
