She started playing football at the age of 5 and continued until she was 16. She also developed a love for drawing and dancing during her childhood.

Ejemonee Rain’s music career spans multiple genres, including Afrobeat, Afro fusion, Afropop, dancehall, reggae, R&B, and Afro-soul. Her early influences include Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, Adele, and Wizkid. She released her first single, “Ogene,” in 2016 under the stage name Major Keyz, featuring Oyo C Baba. She has since released several notable singles, including “Shuga” under her previous name, Lily_Rain.

Ejemonee Rain plays the drums and has collaborated with artists like Oyo C Baba. She won the Umuahia Best Female Artist award in 2017/2018 under her previous name, Major Keyz.
