Emir of Kano appreciates FG for their efforts in the minors’ detention

The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has expressed deep concerns over the treatment given to the #Endbadgovernance protesters.

He further stated that the security agencies should focus on the initiators of the protest rather than the children that was used to implement their plans.

He made this statement on Wednesday during a visit to the minors at the Muhammadu Buhari Specialist Hospital in Kano.

He said, “Many of them are students who go to school. They were picked up in the streets, not in the middle of the violent act.”

He further noted that the treatment given to the minors was not right and if not for the intervention of the federal government, some of them would have been dead.

He emphasized on the need to arrest the culprits behind the protest to prevent the incident from occurring again.

Later on, he thanked President Tinubu and Governor Abba Yusuf for their timely intervention and efforts to help the minors.
