Amidst the controversy surrounding the nationwide protests that kicked off on August 1st, Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has added her voice to the chorus of demands for peaceful demonstrations.
Sharing a video on her Instagram page, she directly addressed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, urging him to restrain his security forces and respect citizens’ rights to peaceful assembly, as reports of minor skirmishes and emotional testimonies from protesters flood the media.

On a personal note, Iyabo recently celebrated her son Festus’ graduation from university in Turkey, expressing pride and gratitude for his achievements.
