EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Enyinna Nwigwe, who was born to Nigerian parents, grew up in Obiangwu, Ngor Okpala, in Imo State. He attended the University of Calabar and earned a degree in economics.
CAREER
Initially, Nwigwe began his career as a model but later transitioned to acting. He made his first appearance in the film industry in 2004 with the movie “Wheel of Change.” In 2012, he acted alongside well-known actors in the film “Black November.”
Nwigwe gained recognition for his leading role in the South African film “All About Love” in 2017, which received the Best Film award for Southern Africa at the AMVCA.
He also portrayed the former military President of Nigeria in the biopic “Badamasi.”
In 2016, Nwigwe achieved significant acclaim for his portrayal of Nonso Onwuka in the highly popular Nigerian film “The Wedding Party.”
The movie received international recognition and premiered at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on September 8, 2016.
