It was revealed that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has used front companies to acquire lands in Abuja.
According to the SaharaReporters, they shared a document which implicated Nyesom Wike and Kingsley Chinda, the Minority Leader in the House of Representatives, who is a director in Saravera Nigeria Limited.
The report shows that Wike and his associates usually use the front companies such as Saravera and Aleed Construction Limited to illegally seize control of lands.
The report led to the demand for investigations by Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), and other leaders.
Sources within the FCT Administration are conducting thorough examination of all the revoked lands mostly on those ones allocated under Wike’s directive.
According to the SaharaReporters source, “This is a documentary evidence of how Wike revokes innocent people’s lands like late Colonel Ogbebor and reallocates to himself using front companies managed and owned by his confidant, Kingsley Chinda, a sitting House of Reps member in violation of the Code of Conduct law and one Adapoyi, his agent.”
Another said, “Nigerians are watching to see how DSS and President Tinubu will handle this smelly FCT land scam to either confirm or disapprove the rumour by Wike camp that the president is part of everything they do with peoples lands and his people are also beneficiaries.”
