EARLY LIFE AND EDUCATION
Born on January 10, 1982, he has worked with prominent Nigerian musicians such as Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, and Patoranking.
Fiokee studied at the Petroleum Training Institute in Effurun, Delta State.
Hailing from Akwa Ibom State, he is the fourth of six siblings and discovered his passion for music early on while singing in a church choir, where he learned solfa notation.
Despite facing financial difficulties, he began learning the guitar from a taxi driver.
In 2003, he enrolled in Delta State to study mechanical engineering while honing his guitar skills through church performances.
CAREER
In 2008, Fiokee gained recognition after winning a music competition called Star Quest with his group, Diamonds, which prompted his move to Lagos State.
This victory led to collaborations on popular tracks like Simi’s ‘Simisola,’ Flavour’s ‘Thankful,’ and Patoranking’s ‘God Over Everything.’
In 2016, he founded his own record label, Fiokee Records, and released his debut album, “MAN,” on January 14, 2022, featuring various Nigerian artists.
Since then, he has also collaborated with international musicians like Jean & Alex.
His latest single, “Fine Girl Today,” was released on August 9, 2024, further establishing his presence in the music industry.
