Firm Advocates For Local Solutions To Manage Diabetes

Date:

The Ever Hale Living Company, a healthcare and wellness solutions provider, has launched a new product focused on managing diabetes.

The firm’s Chief Executive Officer, Johnson Adumike, announced that this product, set to launch in November, was created to enhance wellness and address non-communicable diseases through natural remedies.

Speaking at a recent briefing in Lagos, Adumike mentioned that the natural offerings would act as alternatives to imported medications in light of the escalating drug prices in the country.

Reflecting on his own journey after being diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, the CEO shared that he experienced significant recovery and improved health by turning to natural remedies and Body Reset products.

Inspired by his recovery, he established The Ever Hale Living Company to provide effective and affordable natural solutions for others facing diabetes and other non-communicable diseases.

“Our mission is to create a platform for individuals suffering from various ailments to find viable natural remedies,” he stated.

He emphasized the company’s dedication to making healthcare accessible, offering free consultations to ensure individuals can seek guidance without financial burdens. “We want to make it easy for people to get the help they need,” he noted.

Commenting on the healthcare issues in Nigeria, he observed that many politicians seek medical treatment abroad, highlighting systemic deficiencies. He stressed the importance of changing this narrative by providing affordable and effective local health solutions.

Adumike pointed out the alarming statistics related to diabetes, which leads to over two million fatalities each year.

He advocated for collaboration between conventional and alternative medicine, stating, “We are not against pharmaceutical companies; our goal is to work together to save lives.”

He further encouraged event participants to adopt a healthier lifestyle, cautioning that “food can be both good and harmful.”

Also addressing the gathering, the Chief Executive Officer of Body Reset International Limited, Oluwafemi Oduniyi, urged individuals to take ownership of their health by utilizing a variety of innovative health products.

“You are the only one who can truly care for your body,” he emphasized, prompting attendees to take advantage of effective supplements for their well-being.

Oduniyi highlighted the importance of iodine in water, illustrating its benefits for mineralization, wound healing, and digestion. He noted that iodine can also be used in eye drops to enhance vision clarity.

He also discussed the significance of collagen, especially for women over 30, as it aids in maintaining skin elasticity and combating the signs of aging. Additionally, he introduced a range of cold-pressed multivitamins aimed at addressing nutrient deficiencies in modern diets.

Reflecting on a personal loss, Oduniyi remarked, “When I came across this product, I wished my dad was still alive. If he had access to these products, he might still be here today.” He urged individuals to consider their loved ones, reiterating that health is wealth.

He stressed the advantages of preventative measures, stating, “Prevention is better than cure.” He encouraged everyone to drink at least two liters of quality water daily to maintain optimal health.

Afolabi Aderemi, the Deputy Director of Investigation and Enforcement at the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, clarified that the products mentioned have not yet been launched, with an official launch scheduled for November.

“NAFDAC will always collaborate with anybody that is going to make access to good quality health products for the public”, Aderemi stated.

He addressed concerns about counterfeit herbal products, acknowledging their effectiveness but noting the challenges of adulteration. “When the product is registered, NAFDAC checks to ensure it does not cause harm to the user,” he stated, urging the public to report suspicious items.

Aderemi noted the importance of making quality health products accessible, stating, “We are here for them because we care for the people.  As NAFDAC prepares to support the launch, the focus remains on ensuring public health and safety.”
